Miroslav's Gospel (Miroslavljevo jevandjelje) is a 362-page liturgic book hand written on parchment, with very rich ornamentation. It was transcribed in Kotor (1186-1190) from an earlier Macedonian text. The majority was transcribed by the writer Varsameleon from Zeta, and the last few pages by the writer Gligorije from Raska. It is written in the Zeta/Montenegrin dialect and orthography and is a unique example of ancient Montenegrin literature.
