The cathedral of St. Tryphon is in Kotor. This Roman Catholic cathedral was consecrated on June 19, 1166. It is one of the oldest and most beautiful examples of Roman architecture along the Adriatic Sea. It contains a treasury of artifacts. On the same site, an earlier church of St. Tryphon was built in 809 by a citizen of Kotor, Andrija Saracenis.
